The deliverable of this project is to develop a 3d venation algorithm in python for closed and open loop patterns. My preference would be to do it in IronPython (for integration purposes), but I am also flexible. The contour of the "leaf" should be user defined. Alterations of the general algorithm described in the reference below should be integrated to allow for multiple seed/terminal points and exceptions (avoidance zones). The Leaf CUDA is a good example of the desired outcome: [login to view URL] While no orphin veins should be allowed, and where the seeding point(s) and the converging points(s) should grow toward each other.
