Restore my CENTOS 6 image on another VPS

Hello. I would like to help you with restore image. I have expeience. Please read my feedbaks. Thank you.

Basically it can be unzipped in a separate environment and data can be copied from there to your VPS. But it all depends on some factors and some data can be corrupted. For example when you executed this command and if MySQL was running it might need recovery. What is the size of image? and can you copy it on some dedicated server or under some VMWare or VirtualBox based VM? and provide me access? Regards usman

since you have created an image file it can be restored on your new vps. As you mentioned, if this procedure fails, your applications can still be migrated to the server easily.
