I'm desperately in need of someone with Grasshopper and Rhino experience to model a scalable parametric origami octagonal hyperbolic paraboloid which I could then take and customise further.
It's a little difficult to explain but ideally it would consist of a series of surfaces which when folded 15 times, (mountain and valley folds) form a corrugated hyperbolic paraboloid with 8 sides and axes. Ideally I'd also like the ability to separate these surfaces from one another ihto individual facets
I know that this is probably a terrible description. I have descriptive imagery of handmade models available on request.
