Existing pneumatic mouth-blown siren whistles need a large volume of air at a fairly high pressure in order to produce a noise.
Create a siren whistle model assembly (rotor, stator(s), housing) in Autodesk Inventor that that I can 3D print (I have Inventor myself, so I can change constraints, then export STL for 3D printing) and experiment with the effect of changing constraints such as: different assembly sizes, number of rotor vanes, position and number of stator openings, etc. Ideally, the provided model with the default constraints produces a siren noise using less volume and pressure than existing product (such as those depicted at [url removed, login to view] and on attached image). The model should also be moldable and assemble-able using conventional plastic production manufacturing methods. Provide constrained Inventor and STL files upon completion.
I can mail sample components of a commercially available existing siren whistle approach for review. It is anticipated that reduction in size of an existing approach might produce the desired result. If the end-model produces a higher pitched frequency than that produced by current commercial versions, that is OK. I've also included 2 photos of a: 1) stator/retention element (round holes), 2) rotor and 3) stator/housing (red) from a "lip whistle" toy.
