Femap Training

I am Mechanical Engineer looking to gain training in Femap from someone with 5 plus years of experience in Femap with engineering background. The training can be divided into 3 phases and will be conducted via Microsoft Teams (Online). Topics to be covered in each phase: Phase I: o FEA theoretical background w.r.t Beam, Isoparametric and special elements. o Tour of Femap interface: Preferences, Panes, Toolboxes, Help and Tips & Tricks. o Femap modelling workflow for Beam, Plate and Solid (BPS) element. o Static stress analysis and results interpretation of BPS elements. o Introduction to Plate and Solid modelling with surface and solid geometry and Mesh Toolbox. o Introduction to Assembly Modelling: Glued, Contact and Rigid element Usage. Phase II: o Surface modelling using Manifold and Non-Manifold geometries. o Advanced surface preparation for high-accuracy Plate modelling. o Meshing toolbox tips and tricks with Jacobin optimisation. o Building efficient assemblies via efficient Solid modelling (tet & hex elements) and Linear Contact. o Introduction to linear dynamics (modal analysis tips & tricks). o Non-linear analysis: geometric versus material non-linearity and best practices. Phase III: o Automation of results processing via Excel. o Introduction to Femap's macro capability. o Introduction to Femap's API via Custom Tools. o Programming Femap's API.
