I am seeking someone to do a edit for a story that will be filmed in Africa. The finished video will be somewhere in the 3-5 minute range. It will be a story for a Faith-based organization so it will deal with redemption, life-change, God, etc.
Key will be your ability to tell a compelling story that reaches into the heart of the viewer. (A mini-movie that grabs and holds the viewer's attention.)
I am not yet certain how much footage we will be working with, but it could be somewhere around 20 hours or so. I will not know this for certain until the shoot is done.
I would like to know your hourly or per-finished-minute rates. I would also like to know your editing software and other skills (Photoshop, After Effects, etc.) My preference is Final Cut Pro (but that is not a requirement).
If you are in the Philippines, that is a plus - but again, not a requirement.
I will need to see samples of your work. In addition, I will need to know your availability in mid to late Sept. And how quickly you can work to complete a project.
NOTE: I may also be looking for an ongoing virtual assistant to help with various online projects. If the video editor person has any interest in this, It would be nice to work with ONE PERSON for ongoing projects. But the priority is for one good video editor right now.
