data import/export from tally to vb6.0 application and vb6.0 to tally

Hi. I can do this because I am aware that Tally ERP has a functionality to export to and import data from excel. But I have a question. Can the vb6 program export to and import data from excel? if so I can perform the task. I have a certificate in Tally as well as hands on experience using it. I have a lot of experience in accounting as well, being an accountant by profession. I am proficient in excel and VBA programming. I may be new here but I am not new in the field where you need help.
