Sudanese Canadian Geoscientists Society (SCGS) It is a professional association which is a not-for-profit society of Sudanese & Canadian professionals members who work in the Canadian & Sudanese fields of minerals, metals, ground engineering, and ground industries. Sudanese Canadian Geoscientists Society (CSGS) is a legal non-profit entity corporation which intended to be incorporated and formed pursuant under Canadian federal law in the city of Edmonton province of Alberta. The entity plans to establish in Alberta for purposes other than generating a profit. Moreover, it is for supporting the technical skills of Canadian & landed Immigrants Geoscientists people who graduated from the same field by providing them technical classes and funds to help them to find jobs in Canada and around the globe. SCGS aims to become the leading resource sector in Sudan that is broadly recognized and respected as an engine for sustainable growth and prosperity to help Sudan the most prosperous African land to develop the country underground mineral and water resources. SCGS is active in developing the local Sudanese industry of exploring and extracting underground resources, especially water and minerals, serving displaced communities to benefit from those resources in different Sudan regions. Sudanese Canadian Geoscientists Society Funds aims to be secured from professional Canadian & Sudanese firms and individuals specialized in the field of Geoscience. Sudanese Canadian Geoscientists Society shall always be looking for complementarity, and we greatly value our donors and our implementing and strategic partners. We are also looking to build trust with a steady supporter base and increase members of this base over the coming five years to around 1,000 Geoscientists in 2025. Our efforts and market research aims to connect with large Canadian constituencies. SCGS is looking to build highly valued and long-term relations with the Alberta Provincial government and other Canadian federal government, besides the Sudanese governmental authorities. Institutional funding shall enable us to provide more assistance to larger professional groups of Geoscientists beneficiaries and to continue to grow as a professional organization. SCGS is looking to cooperates in fundraising, knowledge sharing efforts, and collaborating with other NPOs in Canada, Sudan, and wherever possible, sharing knowledge and experience. We are looking to see growth, both in income and in the number of donors, especially from our professional members. It enables us to continue our work to improve the practice and technical skills of Geoscientists around Sudan and Africa. Additional info. about objectives and aims 1- SCGS members, convened from industry, academia, and government, help shape, lead and connect Canadian & Sudanese underground resources and trade across the two countries . 2-Develop a community of resources for geology faculties and student support. 3-Celebrate the diverse abilities of all geoscience students, faculty and working professionals by fostering student engagement in geoscience career pathways. 4-Advance knowledge of access and accommodation within the geosciences through scientific research. 5-Promote efforts of inclusion through collaboration in research, dissemination of instructional best practices, and professional development opportunities. 6- SCGS aims to become the leading resource sector of manpower in Sudan that is broadly recognized and respected as an engine for sustainable growth and prosperity to help Sudan the most prosperous African land to develop the country underground mineral and water resources.
