Ecommerce website management

Job Description We are seeking for an individual to do sporadic maintenance work on our ecommerce Shopify store. The successful candidate will benefit from having a proactive and positive attitude and perform requests rapidly (within 72 hours) or an agreed upon time frame. An interest in online fashion retail will be highly beneficial. Workload may increase overtime. Responsibilities Manage website configuration & parameters. Investigate dead links. Run diagnostic tools to assess web performance. Make recommendations to improve User Experience. Have good notions of: discounts, contests, popup and related tools (a plus) Upload product information, inventory and other data on the website. Report and investigate any operational/technical issues that arise. Test and implement functional improvements and app integrations from third parties. Evaluate approaches and strategies to improve website sales conversions and customer engagement. Very important. Have a graphic eye to ensure aesthetics are always maintained and optimal. Job Description This role involves being the primary resource for managing our E-commerce website. It is a composite role that requires organisational skills and workload management as well as an ability to react positively to short-notice requests. The successful candidate will benefit from having previous E-commerce experience on Shopify, in addition to having a proactive and positive attitude. An interest in online fashion retail will be highly beneficial. Responsibilities Manage website configuration & parameters (website optimization and stock management). Propose recommendations to improve User Experience on a monthly basis and based on web performance. Update product information/inventory (upload excel files) content on the website. Report and investigate any operational/technical issues that arise. Test and implement functional projects/improvements. Evaluate approaches and strategies to improve sales conversions and customer engagement. The Ideal Candidate SHOPIFY Plate-form experience is a must. Competency in Adobe Photoshop desirable. Competency in HTML/CSS coding is a must. Forms creation. Template Liquid and snippets (html). A keen eye for details. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
