Windows program that allows user to set a custom hotkey that when pressed will copy to clipboard text from a target text document on the hard drive. The program GUI will display the current text copied to clipboard and previous text copied to clipboard. The program must also allow the user to automatically convert certain characters in the text document to a different character in the clipboard. For example: Text in text file: ABCDE User sets "B" to auto convert to "9" Then text copied to clipboard is A9CDE.

Hi, I have done demo version of your script already. It is hooked to shortcut CTRL+ALT+S (on Windows OS level) , when pressed it does following 1. Read content of the predefined file 2. Store active content of clipboard 3. Replace clipboard content with the first text line read from the file 4. Display both original (from step 2) and new content (from step 3) of clipboard If you would like to test it, I can share this demo with you and I can continue with the rest of tasks (replace characters ... ) Marek
