Joe from Bizhero took my project to the next level when he realized that it was under budget for what I really wanted done. This was a front page redesign that I wanted to use my existing theme inside of wordpress. He recommended a totally different theme that would do much, if not all of what I wanted and cost less in the long run as I still needed to code/create much of the rest of the site. I am a bit pragmatic and time is money. For me to go look for a theme could take all week for me to get the right one and I have a day job to do. The money he requested may have seemed like a lot, but finding the theme setting up the back-end and getting the ball rolling actually ended up saving me money. Joe was professional in every way, met all of our internal dates for reviews and then delivered ahead of schedule. I would hire Joe from BizHero again if I needed to get something done.

Very happy with the interaction and feedback throughout the process as well as the final product. As this was the first website build I'd ever been involved with, I was a little intimated about the process and the technical details which I imagined to be greater than they actually were. Joe's team was able to put my website together in time and then walk me through the completed product with a minimum of technical gobbledygook. The feedback throughout the process was a positive and the flexibility and multiple layouts they presented during and at each milestone review reassured me that we were headed in the right direction. All in all, this was a good first experience on Freelancer with Bizhero and I would have no hesitation returning as a repeat customer!

While Joe himself was well qualified, and sounded skilled and understanding of my need for quality, my project was outsourced to a less qualified freelancer who failed to complete the task to the standard required. Work did not appear to have been checked by Joe before being passed on to me. This meant frequent rounds of revisions, often for introduced errors such as spelling and formatting errors (inconsistencies in styles and a lot of instances where imported styles had not been wiped). We had to ask for the same corrections many times over. Joe refused to make many of these revisions, stating the job was over budget. I understand that more time was spent than anticipated, however we were disappointed at the failure to correct errors made by his team, and which most professionals would complete. We made most revisions ourselves, largely formatting errors. With attention to detail + better quality control, the result would have been different. I wish Joe well in the future.
