Looking for a modern and dynamic logo for a local political campaign.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOME DESIGNS THAT USE THE CURRENT LOGO (SEE ATTACHED BUSINESS CARD -- IT IS THE INITIALS "GW") A=BUT THAT INCORPORATES SOME GRAPHIC ELEMENT SHOWING PROGRESS, HOPE, FORWARD MOVEMENT IN THE DESIGN. THE COLOR SCHEME SHOULD STAY THE SAME. WE WANT TO KEEP THE CURRENT LOGO BUT WANT TO SEE OPTIONS THAT ADD A GRAPHIC ELEMENT THAT IS VERY MODERN, ATTRACTIVE, AND POSITIVE INTO THE DESIGN.

The logo should use the color scheme of the current business card (see attached file for the color). It should be modern and attractive. WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING BOLD, MODERN, AND INNOVATIVE.

**NOTE THAT THE LOGO CAN BE A SYMBOL/IMAGE ( WITH THE FULL NAME AND OTHER TEXT INCLUDED UNDER IT IN SOME WAY.** Creativity is encouraged. This is a logo for a political campaign related to education & progress. Creativity is encouraged in design!

The words in the logo are "GARY WADDELL" and it should include, in smaller text underneath, the words "for San Mateo County Superintendent of
Schools" (these words may be a separate graphic file to be used, when appropriate, with the logo if the design doesn't work to have them as part of it).

In terms of design -- we are looking for graphic elements reflecting positive, forward movement, hope, or progress. Additionally, some images of the local area have been attached. These MAY be used as inspiration/references, but DO NOT have to be if you have other ideas that reflect positive movement (sunrise, arrows, etc). The logo will be used for website, print materials, t-shirts,
emails, etc..

The attachments include:

1) Current business card (a same or complimentary color palette should be used)
2) An image of another logo that is presented as a possible ideas of incorporating forward movement into a logo
3) A logo of a local agency - that may be used as inspiration, but does not have to be
4) The local county seal...again, just shared as an option. Does NOT have to be referenced/included
