We are creating a deck of cards to accompany the book Make Social Learning Stick by Elizabeth Sautter. You may view details about the book here:

The cards will 3.5 inches wide and 5 inches tall, with rounded corners. You may see a demo of me holding a sample deck of blank cards at this link:

The cards are meant to be used by parents, teachers, and caregivers to have tips with ideas on developing social thinking in everyday situations, and should be pretty cute and fun. We intend to sell a set of 54 cards as a bundle with the book, so it needs to be obvious in the design of the card that they are based on the contents of the book.

We need a front side(the side with the changing content) and back side (the side with the consistent content) designed for the card. In your design, please leave a quarter inch of blank space around the edges on both designs to allow for bleeding. (So the dimensions each design will actually be 4 x 5.5.) If you would like to use a graphic as part of your design, I have included a sample graphic for your use.

I have also included some examples of card designs that the author liked, but please feel free to take creative license if you feel you can develop a better design than the examples.

Verbal Ping-Pong

Conversation

Small talk at parties is similar to playing ping-pong.
It usually consists of back-and-forth questions and answers about what’s new or what’s going on at the party.

Play small-talk ping-pong with your child to see how many verbal exchanges she can carry out about a certain topic such as a movie, the plans for the day, the weather, etc. Consider tossing a ping pong ball (or similar object) back and forth to make it more concrete.

Hi Harini. Thanks for asking. There are two designs. One side, which I call the back, will be the same design on all 54 cards. The side that I call the front will be the side that has different content on each card, and the design you create for that side will act as a template for that content. Does that answer your question?

So you want a design template for making these cards with the front page designed completely and the back page with the constant picture excluding the actual text which will be filled later by you.
