Opis Konkursu

I am looking for a logo design for my new restaurant concept Novella Dining. Although I don't have any specific color schemes or elements in mind, I have a general idea of what I am looking for.

The concept is all around small plates and telling the stories of our dishes, suppliers and menu. Each menu is a new chapter in our evolution. I'd like a simple design that looks a bit more edgy and worn than the attached logo. Something that is eye catching, but still entirely text focussed. Please no images.

My budget for the logo design project is less than $100.
