We are seeking a unique and captivating design for Miro's website, an expert in the Destination Management sector. The site will serve as the go-to for B2B tourism professionals organizing group trips. We desire a design that merges a classic touch, in line with Miro's taste, with modern elements to ensure an optimal user experience. This contest revolves around creating the design for the Homepage and a Destinations page. The winning design will set the foundation for the development of other pages dedicated to the specific locations Miro offers.

### **Who is Miro**

Miro is a seasoned expert in the Destination Management sector with over two decades of experience. He founded his business, in 1999 and has since diligently served the B2B tourism market. Miro stands out for his profound knowledge of the destinations he offers, including Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia Herzegovina, England, Scotland, Cornwall, Ireland, and Sicily. His specialty lies in providing comprehensive tourism services for groups, ranging from hotel bookings, transportation, tour guides, museum and attraction entries, to meals, and much more. Miro primarily caters to Tour Operators, Travel Agencies, Recreational Clubs, and Catholic Associations, offering them tailor-made solutions to craft unforgettable travel experiences.

### **Homepage**

The Homepage will be Miro's calling card and must instantly captivate visitors. It should clearly present who Miro is, the services he offers, and the destinations he covers. The page should have a clean design, with representative icons for each service offered. For a detailed description of each element the Homepage should encompass, please refer to the attached document "Miro Project Details".

### **Destinations Page**

This page will be dedicated to a specific destination and should provide detailed information on the services Miro offers for that location. Each service should be represented by an icon in the main banner, with a brief description appearing on mouse hover. The page should also include detailed sections for each service, providing further information and details. For a detailed description of each element the Destinations Page should encompass, please refer to the attached document "Miro Project Details".

Important Note on Images: All images used in the design must be free from copyright. We suggest using freepik.com to find suitable images for your design, including premium content (we have a subscription). It's essential to provide us with the direct links to the images used, so we can take responsibility for their use.

### **Style and Design**

The site's design should reflect Miro's deep expertise and passion for the tourism sector. Here are some guidelines to help designers capture the essence of what we're aiming for:

1. **Classic Simplicity:** Miro values a classic, traditional style. However, this doesn't mean the site should look outdated. The goal is to blend a sleek, modern design with a classic touch.
2. **Color Palette:** The primary colors should be white, navy blue, and gold. These colors should be consistently used throughout the site to establish a strong, recognizable visual identity.
3. **High-Quality Images:** Images are crucial for a tourism site. They should be evocative, high-quality, and authentically represent the destinations on offer. The images should also reflect the diversity of experiences Miro offers.
4. **Iconography:** The icons used to represent the various services should be simple yet evocative. They should be easily recognizable and designed to harmoniously integrate with the site's overall design.
5. **Typography:** Font choice should mirror the site's classic yet modern design approach. Fonts should be legible, elegant, and suitable for both headings and body text.

- **Responsive Design:** The site should be fully responsive, ensuring excellent display and functionality on both desktop and mobile devices.
- **Contact Form:** A dedicated section allowing visitors to send inquiries or questions directly to Miro. This form should include fields for name, email, subject, and message.
- **Blog/News Section:** A space where Miro can share news, updates, or intriguing articles related to the destinations or services he offers.
- **FAQ:** A section addressing the most frequently asked questions about the services, destinations, and any other relevant information.

In the context of crafting an innovative design for Miro's website, we offer you an additional opportunity. If you're interested, we invite you to propose a logo that aligns with the most recent branding trends of 2023. This logo should embody Miro's passion and expertise in the B2B tourism world. Please note that creating a logo for this contest is not mandatory. However, if you wish to incorporate your logo proposal into the landing page design, we will consider it. The most compelling logo will be rewarded with an additional bonus of £80, separate from this contest.
