Hey All,

We are very excited to announce that we've won two Webby awards, one for Employment and one for Professional Services! As traditional at the award ceremony for the Webbys, each winner is expected to give a five word acceptance speech. To prepare for this auspicious event, we'd love for you to help us write Matt Barrie's acceptance speech! What should we say to the world about Freelancer? What makes us the best employment site on the planet?

We want to hear from you! Come up with a spectacular 5 word speech that encompasses what and who we are!

As of the moment, 1500 slogans have been proposed for this contest, but it seems like our proposed slogans haven't been considered. You just rated 17 of 1500. We spent quite a bit of time on these slogans and submitted 42 so far and have more, but weren't able to submit them since an image had to accompany each slogan. But they weren't examined and rated like the rest of the catchphrases. We found this somewhat frustrating and disappointing and would like to see our attempt given a fair chance like the rest of the slogans.

There could be some embarrassing blow-back for saying or implying Freelancer.com "is hiring," that freelancers are employees, or that Freelancer.com provides employment. It's a great idea for connecting freelancers with freelance-seekers, but project/contest poster or freelancers, we're all Freelance.com customers. You don't pay us, we pay you, and freelancers probably pay a lot more than contest posters. We're no more your employees than we are of the cable company or sewer services. I'm not complaining about this or saying it should be otherwise, just that some may see this as an opportunity to accuse you of taking undue credit.

Exactly at this point in time I have got 8 entries with 3 Star ratings! I am so happy!.I have read comments below, some of my fellow Freelancers think that only entries with 5 star ratings do have a chance to win,no it isn't,many are the times that I have seen entries with 3 or 4 stars ratings winning the contest's.Anyone can correct me if I am wrong.

Please do not forget that Freelancer just won two Webby awards, one for Employment and one for Professional Services!.Therefore,I can guarantee you that ALL enteries shall be rated.And only the best 5 word's shall be declared a winner.Freelancer is second to none in terms maintaining the highest level of transparency and integrity,that is why if for example a contest holder fail's to pick a contest winner within a certain period of time,Freelancer doesn't retain the cash but they will spread the cash to all the participants of that contest.Therefore,my dear fellow freelancers sit black,relax and enjoy because Freelancer is in total control.
