We are an international translation agency and have a Company Profile (3 pages) and a Services Showcase (4 pages) brochure (see them attached).

The brochures have already been created but, when it comes to marketing, there is always a better way to convey ideas to the target audience. That's what we need here: we need your help to make the content better by proofreading/editing/using better marketing terms. It's the final touch on the text.

Our candidate for this job is a UK-born native speaker with excellent marketing, writing and content-creation skills.

Hi, UK born copy editor here. Could you please clarify exactly what has to be done in order to win the €100 prize?

Is it

1. “find a better a new and name for both brochures and use one/two paragraphs from anywhere in the text to show your competence”

or

2. “complete review, proofreading and rewriting, if necessary” of two brochures, “a Company Profile (1365 words) and a Services Showcase (1669 words)”?

or

3. Complete #1 . in order to qualify for attempting to win the prize by completing # 2. - if you see what I mean.

Roland, even though I live in Canada I'm a native UK speaker because our Canadian system of English is based on the British system: same spelling, grammar rules apply. Also, I've done just this exact type of job recently where I take written content and edit it to make it better. I've done this for companies around the world, including Germany, Australia, India, Hong Kong. I actually took the time to submit a contest entry that reworked one of your brochure paragraphs so you have proof of my skills right there. Or you can also look at my profile/portfolio. So before awarding the contest/project to anyone, why not test their skills instead of believing what they say they can do?

Roland, please rate entry #2 and leave feedback. It's a sample rewrite of the first paragraph of the Company Profile brochure. I rewrote the whole paragraph to make it sound more professional, but all the original information is still there. Also, my entry is shorter than it appears; I just use a large font so it's easier for you to read. Thanks.

If you look at my profile/portfolio, you'll see that I've in fact worked on very similar projects where I revise the entire content of a website or article (all of which have received great feedback). Sounds great roland, but a few quick questions: 1) Do you want us to submit just a sample rewrite of one or two brochure paragraphs (Which would mean that after the contest you would hire the winner to complete the whole rewrite as part of a Project) or the WHOLE thing? 2) When you say marketing lingo, do you specifically mean UK marketing lingo or just marketing lingo in general?
