I am looking for a reader-grader. The job would entail grading college freshman and college senior papers from writing classes. I have set up this contest in the hopes of finding someone.

The contest: Critique the attached partial paper. I want both line-editing (including checking the citations and the References page) and an overall critique. The paper is by a college freshman. Do not include a grade. Do include a rate per 1000 words you would charge if I hire you permanently.

Please make the corrections in red or USE ALL CAPS. Please do not handwrite.

There are instructions at the beginning of the paper. Please read them carefully before doing the critique. If you have questions, then please ask before you begin.

Important: please do not enter the contest if your English is not impeccable. You would be wasting your time and mine.
