Developing accounting software

We need someone with experience in developing accounting software applications to design database layout for nominal ledger entries, nominal ledger codes, dealing with receipts, allocating receipts against invoices, allocating credit notes against invoices. Dealing with Value Added Tax.

The company that this application is being written for receives payments in advance from customers and then as the customers are invoiced, it is deducted from their credit balance.
