cache-simulator in C

cache simulator input

$ simple_cache_sim [login to view URL] 1024 16 4

-> 1024:cache size 16:block size 4:associativity

i added trace file

cache simulator must be print out like this

$ simple_cache_sim [login to view URL] 1024 16 2

tag: 23 bits

index: 5 bits

offset: 4 bits

Result: total access 515683, hit 468811, hit rate 0.91

in this case must print error message and close

program input arguments is not 4

trace file is not exist

cache block size isn't 2*n

associativity isn't 1,2,4,8

cache size isn't (cache block size*associativity*n)

**block replacement -LRU method
