I need help with my C assignment at the university level. Program needs to be written using standard C with the syntax commented and not too advanced.

I need to create an auto complete program based on a binary search tree. Data will be taken from a .txt file with 25,143 words(already sorted).After user types first 3 letters program needs to offer possible words and allow the user to accept them. I already have part of the program ready, I will need it on friday 24.01.2014.
