Freelancer is looking for an outstanding creative to write high quality ad copy with impact to be used in an outdoor ad campaign.

The Brief:

[url removed, login to view] connects over 2.5 million professionals from all over the world. Through our website, employers can hire freelancers to do work in areas such as software, writing, data entry and design right through to engineering and the sciences, sales & marketing and accounting & legal services. The average job is under US$200, making [url removed, login to view] extremely cost effective for small businesses, which often need a wide variety of jobs to be done, but cannot justify the expense of hiring full time.

Our target audience is small businesses, Entrepreneurs and startups. Looking to outsource functions of their business, which either they are unable to do due lack of knowhow or prohibitive cost of taking on staff or outsourcing locally .

We require a series of posters to be produced for different formats for use in Canada, US and the UK. The objective of the creative is to generate awareness of the concept of online outsourcing and the ability to hire a freelancer online as well as aligning this with the [url removed, login to view] brand. The secondary objective is to drive people to the website to post their own project.

The copy must note the variety of categories one can outsource on [url removed, login to view] (see [url removed, login to view] & [url removed, login to view] ) , as well as the cost effectiveness of using [url removed, login to view] (Logos from $30, Websites from $300)

Within the copy space available for each format we would like to try to include the following message: "Outsource anything on [url removed, login to view]" and "Your first Project is Free!". We also require some of the main categories to be mentioned: Graphic Design, Web Design, Online Marketing, App Development etc

The Ad can be funny, quirky and entertaining to help cut through, the use of the wacky projects and categories are a way this could be done. But we are looking for your creative genius and input to help us come up with a strong attention grabbing campaign which has an impact.

The winning bidder will be expected to come up with:

1) Overall campaign message which can be used on large format, low dwell time formats such as billboards.

2) More in-depth message which can be used on smaller format posters with longer dwell time.

The type of formats we are looking at include:

New York Subway Posters in the subway and in-carriages, Commuter Rail Carriage Posters

Toronto - Posters in Train Stations and Bus Stations

London - 48 sheet billboards
