They come as

Trailing hair sprouts of the messiah

Steadfast and austere; holier than thou

They pose and pray

In their gimmick immaculateness

Only living saints they display

Mighty watchers of god they claim to be

issuing curses and praises

And all the creeds he dictates

In foreign stages they camouflage

Them, a part of an existence they refute

Hidden behind doors;

They become worse than they condemn:

Another mere covenanter of flesh.

In perplexion, we ponder

Íf their bigotry is subscribed only around the churchyards?

God is in need of no helper:
