Create custom map of North America with 175 markers using approx 15 custom icons (each custom icon represents a company) and legend to match...

I have a database in excel of approx 175 marker points. These points represent approx 15 companies in total. One company has 80+ locations and the rest are much smaller. I want to create a map of US & Canada importing the data points by address. For each of the 15 companies I want to create a custom icon marker on the map. Then I would like a legend which has each of the 15 companies listed next to the custom icon marker.

The address database is complete so all that is necessary is to copy & paste the data points in the map. The time consuming part of this project is to create each custom image marker icon based on the the company name or logo. I want to keep it simple so we can either check the companies website if they have a logo to use or abbreviate the initials of the company or something in between.

The important part is that the legend on the map match each custom icon marker with the full name of the company.

I was using the software called imapbuilder but the software does not allow you to create a legend with custom icons.

I am not looking for a flash/interactive map. Simply looking for a map that shows all the markers with custom icon markers on the map and a legend.

I don't want states to be identified on the map because it will appear too cluttered with 175 markers throughout the US & Canada.

I want to be able to share it either as a PDF or JPG file when complete. Nothing complicated.

I would like the ability to modify it down the road if necessary after the project.

My budget is $30.
