1. Warranty page:
· able for buyers to register a account for warranty
· able to login with same userid.
· Userid is taken from the email address
· Uses able to register product warranty. Can register more than 1 product in one sitting.
· info to key in: name, email, phone, addresses, attach image of receipt, brand, model, product serial number, date purchased as of receipt, vendor name
· Admin will manually enter warranty period (i.e. 1 year, 2 years…) and assign it to the serial number.
· Without logging in, users can run a check on the public website for product warranty status. I.e. [url removed, login to view]
· Users can search by email address OR product serial number.
· User can look up for more than one warranty status.
· info to retrieve: brand, model, product serial number, date purchased as of receipt, vendor name, date of warranty expiration.
