I'm looking for a logo for my personal project. ListSting, is a real time messaging application that creates a medium for businesses and customers to exchange messages.
Businesses can list their services. Customers can list stuff for sale. Both, can freely communicate with one another.
My thoughts:
ListSting is a mobile application, so the logo has to be universal. It should look good on both black and white backgrounds.
The design should look like a chat bubble, similar to any other messenging application. The reason for this specific detail is that notification icon on the status bar should looks like a conversation.
Another thought, the logo may play on the word "Sting" and resemble a bee. However, if you have a better idea, i'll definitely would like to hear your input. I'm open to any colors as long as it looks pleasant to the eye.
How much would it take to give this idea an identity?
