Android game basic structure (menu, data, activities)

Creating a framework for a mobile game. We have the gameplay working for an Android app. It uses an update function to step the game forward, then a draw function that draws on canvas.

1, We need a start page, an info page, a level selection page, a simple game canvas page, and from there, a win page, a lose page, and a menu page. See diagram for the flow chart. The whole app will be fullscreen, and should always be in vertical format (no auto-rotate).

2, We need a system for saving and loading level scores. Like many games, the scores will determine which levels are "unlocked", which are "locked" and the scores for the completed ones. The previous scores should appear as a number on top of the level icon on the level select page.

3, The level select page should be horizontal scrolling. There will be a large, wide presentation with bitmaps scattered on it for level options. These will each be buttons. When pressed, a window will take over the bottom half of the screen with information about that level (a couple bitmaps, title, text, previous high score, and a "play" button if the level is unlocked).

4, For the simple game, have a circle that drips every few seconds from the top, and falls with gravity down to the bottom of the screen. Have a velocity variable start at zero, and each step, it increases. And the drop falls according to the velocity.

5, Most importantly is the basic functionality such as the back button going to the previous screen, or showing a prompt to confirm ending the level; saving the level score when one is completed; loading scores when opening to allow correct levels to unlock; pausing/restoring the game if the home button is pressed; and have a surfaceHolder/canvas simulation to work with update and draw functions.

We will provide some of the bitmaps, but you are free to use temporary images which we can later replace.

To clarify, this project does not include the game itself. That I am working on and will integrate on my own afterwards. For this project, the winner will put together the app structure (start page, welcome, load/save data, canvas for drawing the game, etc. see above). The actual game play for this can be a simple shape falling downwards. To make it interesting, I'd like it to start at the top of the screen with velocity = 0, and increase velocity downwards, so the shape drops off the bottom off the screen. This will allow me to test how fast the app runs, and ideally it will appear the same speed on all android phones.
