Development of Web based Live Viewing functionality of IP cameras

Development of Web based Live Viewing functionality of IP cameras. IP cameras will provide an RTSP Stream in the following typical format rtsp://[url removed, login to view]

Following are the codecs that needs to supported

- [url removed, login to view]

- MPEG4

- MJPEG

Brands of Cameras to be supported

- Vivotek

- Pansonic

- Axis

- Sony

Since it is web based solution, it should OS independent preferably using java as the development platform.

It should at least support IE, Firefox, Chrome on Windows, Linux and Mac OS. ActiveX controls shall not be used for development.

Though currently not required the Live viewing functionality should be easily expandable to support recording from the IP cameras.

We are open if the live viewing is achieved using ONVIF protocol
