We're looking for a Database expert to help us create applications and
infrastructure to maintain our data.
Your responsibilities:
- Review business requirements and perform a technical analysis of
requirements
- Produce a solid, detailed technical design
- Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements
- Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use
Your qualifications:
- A work style that is extremely detail oriented
- A complete Elance profile
- References or an established reputation on Elance preferred
Database Requirements:
We are in need of an application that does the following:
- Application should allow user to upload excel sheet with Unit, VIN and
Plate Number.
- Scan Document with OCR (Omnipage or Abby) to retrieve county, VIN number
and plate from Georgia registration card.
- Database should have a check and balance system to compare scanned
document with uploaded information County, VINs and Plates and Unit Number
Making sure each VIN is not a duplicate and matches the information from
registration card.
Also ensuring that the VIN has not been used in any other county or has
been double charged.
- Once VIN and plate number is scanned or uploaded into the database it
will decode the VIN number to decode the year make model
- Each VIN entry will allow us the user to manually designate a Unit
Number (as an optional function)
- The database should calculate taxes using Georgia millage rates and
renewal fee (Millage rates change per year so a function should be put on
the application to allow yearly millage rate updates.)
-Database should have the following reports
- Report of expense per county - Amount received and Amount due
- Daily weekly and month report of all completed vehicles broken down by
county, vin, plate, make and model renewal fee, and taxes.
- date processed or uploaded
- county completion/processing rate per week day and month
system should allow user profile and tracking - to identify what user was
in the system time date and what they did from uploads to entries etc.
county profiles that include point of contact, address, city state and zip
total processed cars and the amount spend per county and refund amount.
