Write some Software to interface internal system with Agoda intranet YCS

Agoda is an on-line travel agent who sell rooms that are offered to them by hotels. There is no obligation on either side in the sense that if Agoda do not sell the room, they pay nothing; if they do sell, they collect from the guest, keep a commission and send the rest. On the other hand, if the hotel gets full, it can remove the rooms given to Agoda, for any date at any time. Agoda can sell only what rooms they have been allocated, at the price nominated by the hotel.

The system works well enough but there is no API. So if we sell a room direct via our own website or a phone inquiry, we have to remember to remove that room from Agoda. This sounds easy, but it gets complex during busy periods, when rooms might be booked, then cancelled, and dates extended or shortened, and Agoda is selling at the same time as the hotel is. If we forget to remove a room, Agoda might sell a room we do not have, which we must somehow honor. If we forget to give them rooms we haven't sold, we might miss sales. So we need to reconcile and edit continuously, perhaps hourly if it was easy to do. But it is not, it is simply a browser interface to a fairly complex internal system of their own, with few tools and limited reporting.

I can't tell you how to go about this project; I don't know whether it would be possible to automatic the mouse movements and clicks to emulate a manual procedure; or whether you can post a structured HTML string which achieves the same thing.

But what I do know is that a lot of people have done it and offer as interface module (not just for Agoda, but also to many other on-line travel agents) to the reservations systems they sell. But we don't want to change reservations system, we just want to add an interface, if we can find someone who knows how to build it for us.

Previous experience building this kind of thing is required, and if you have successfully built an interface to Agoda or another OnLine Travel Agent, then you are hired.

Our in-house system is built on Oracle using their RAD tool Application Express.
