Codeigniter & JQuery integraatio

I have website that's programmed in Codeigniter framework and the front end is done using Bootstrap framework. I need some UI modifications such as AJAX search and responsive tables. The database and Codeigniter MVC code is already in place. The work is primarily into UI.

Here is a brief of the project : It is a Stock market recommendation website programmed in codeigniter. This particular project will deal in following tables :
0. Scripmaster - where we store information related to stocks such as their name, unique id, etc.
1. Users - where we store user related information such as login details, emails, subscription date and expiry, etc.
2. Recommendation - where we store recommendation on a particular stock, a stock may have multiple recommendations belonging to numerous categories
3. Scrip track table - a user of the site may choose to track a particular stock

Scope of work
1. Create popup login- The user clicks a link on home page - and the sign in box pops up. No redirection is required. Authentication is done within the popup box using ajax and the user is redirected to login area upon succesful login.
2. Create search and filter - The recommendation table is displayed inside the login area already. I would now like to add search based on the scrip name and filters based on 3 columns of the recommendation table.
3. Scrip Tracker - I would like the user to select a scrip from the scripmaster table and add it in his watchlist. His "My Watchlist" page would display recommendations in the scrips that he chose to track. He should also be able to remove a particular scrip from his watchlist. In addition, if there is a new recommendation is made in his watchlist scrip - the same should popup in closable message area within the landing page.
4. Remember Me feature - the site should use cookies and store passwords to remember repeat login.
5. Forgot password - Using codeigniter mailing plugin, a forgot password feature needs to be created wherein the user can request change of password.

The CSS is already in place using bootstrap as mentioned. I would like whatever the programmer does to be incorporated within the HTML styles of the template.
