I'd like a quote on the payment gateway integration I'd like to have done on my site. The site is already built, and all pages described exist. We just need to have the payment gateway integrated and working like we want. Here are the use cases for you to look over:
I didn't outline ever single possible extension, but I hit the important ones for the user end. (I didn't include what happens if there's a system error or not enough funds, for example. But a professional group such as yourself would know what to do better than me for that stuff).
BOOKING:
Actors: User, System.
Definitions:
Book: Selecting an item to purchase or rent.
Listing: The data pertaining to a single item available for purchase or rent.
Payment information: Pertinent information to complete an online monetary transaction (PayPal, Credit Card, etc).
Steps:
1. User navigates to listings.
2. System displays all listings available.
3. User selects a listing and requests to book that listing.
4. System requests payment information
5. User submits payment information, and indicates that they wish to save this information for future use.
6. System books item for User, removes item from listing, notifies the Seller of that listing of the booking, and confirms to the User that the item has been booked.
Extensions:
4a. System asks User if (s)he wants to use payment information entered in a previous booking that has been saved.
1. User confirms. Return to step 6.
2. (Alternate to above) User replies no, return to step 5.
5a. User submits payment information, and indicates that they wish to NOT save this information for future use. Return to step 6.
In our current model, the website has problems in that it does not display the listings when the User navigates to the listings page.
We also do not have functionality to proceed past step 3 (no way to properly input payment information and begin payment process). I have had some difficulty determining if this is completely lacking from the website or merely nonfunctional. My background is not in web development, so this code structure is new to me.
We would like to use Braintree as our payment gateway to perform transactions.
WITHDRAW MONEY FROM WALLET:
Actors:
User, System
Definitions:
Wallet: Store of money the User is able to keep available for use on the website. This money can be used toward purchases and rentals, and can also be withdrawn.
Money Transfer: Withdraw money from the Wallet to a private account, such as a bank account.
Steps:
1. User requests to perform a money transfer.
2. System requests account information.
3. User submits account information, and indicates that they wish to save this information for later use.
4. System requests amount to be transferred.
5. User submits amount to be transferred.
6. System initiates transaction, alerting the User by email that the transfer has been requested, and again when the transfer has been made.
Extensions:
2a. System asks User if (s)he wants to use payment information entered in a previous money transfer that has been saved.

3a. User submits account information, and indicates that they wish to NOT save this information for future use. Return to step 4.
The current model in place uses an open text field for a user to place any relevant information for the transfer. Then an Admin has to manually transfer the money. We would like the system to be automated (as described above). If full automation is not reasonable or recommended, we would like to limit the Admin’s role to approving the transaction.
