I'm looking to build a site where customers can come on and customize a computer that we will then build, configure and ship to them. I have seen a lot of sites that do this, but I prefer a much more simple and streamlined approach. The closest to what I'm looking for is Puget Systems ([url removed, login to view]), and I'd like a backend where I can log in, check orders and update components...etc. I have a fairly good knowledge of PHP and MySQL, so I'd prefer the project be written using PHP with MySQL databases. I'd also need the site to work with a checkout system (I'll use anything as long as you set it up, I like google checkout since I plan on using AdWords).
