Activate Word Press Blog and Fix MySQL

I moved my blog from one host to another. In moving the blog the mysql database that has all my blog data for the site got messed up and I need a Word Press, MySQL expert to do some tweaks on the new host to get my blog back up and running.
According to my server administrator this will not be a big job for someone versed in Word Press and MySQL.
I know the new server has the right mySQL and PHP version on it but I also know the new server does NOT have CPanel or Plesk so if you need that to do this work don't apply.
Must have Yahoo Instant Messenger AND be very fluent in written English communication.
