Create search and results page. The big idea is that we are doing a site search for a new ~500 page web site using Google-hosted custom search. The Google search engine spiders our site, and returns XML. We will parse that XML on the fly in an app running on Google App Engine. The end user will perceive that they are issuing the query and viewing paginated results on [url removed, login to view], which will be an appspot.
I will provide HTML/CSS for both query and results screen, you can just follow the sample HTML. Search engine is run via the Google Custom Search API ([url removed, login to view]); your code will run on Google App Engine (GAE) in either python or GoLang ([url removed, login to view]). We will customize the display and ranking using facets/labels. For example, we will separate results about "books" from results about "courses" based on annotations in the source HTML.
