My family and I are trying to configure a family savings plan where we all put in a certain amount of money and weekly one person takes the lumpsum that week or month alternating between 28 people. We are trying to do it with 28 family members. After each persons pay out they will still contribute the initial amount, for ex:$500 but we do not want to have to add any additional people . We want it to be able to rotate between a set group of people. I am aware of another group of people who are doing this with 28 people separated into 4 charts with 7 people each. I am also aware that they hired a statistician to help them figure it out. This idea comes from a older tradition called a “sou sou” but with a traditional sou sou you have to keep adding people in order for people to get a payout. We want to figure out a way to lock it within a set amount whether that is 28 or 40 without adding additional people .
