Develop an android app to display phone number

I would like to be developed for a simple android app than can automatically display my Phone Number.
I have tried multiple FREE apps from the apppstore, which read and display info from the SIM. They display other info, but do not display my phone number.

to view your own phone number on android, you can always go to Settings > About Phone > Status > My Phone Number the status might have different names on different phones
