Hi there,
I am looking for a writer to help me create a bi-weekly newsletter in the spiritual niche. Users pay for this content, so it has to be exceptional. My readers like Horoscopes, Tarot readings, and other interactive / personalized content... but I am open to new ideas. The goal of this content is to help inspire and enrich their lives.
This would be an on-going position, with new content every week. It would include a mix of shorter emails, and the longer bi-weekly newsletter. Ideally, this would be as "hands off" as possible - giving you the autonomy to write yourself. Of course, we would work our way up to this... but my "dream" workflow would go something like:
1) Once or twice a month you go to the library and sit down with a bunch of spiritual books, and look for topics and ideas for future articles (and make a list of ideas / notes).
2) Every Monday, you send me a proposal for a few articles and we agree on which ones are the best. This is for the content you will write in the following week(s), giving you at least 2 weeks per set of articles.
3a) During the week, you send me the articles. Hopefully by this time they don't need any revisions, because you know the kind of content my readers like and they are ready to send.
3b) Once approved, you write a teaser email that I can send out to "free" users that has a few actionable ideas - and it encourages them to pay for the subscription.
Please let me know why you are the perfect candidate, and we will go from there. I think it makes sense to do a few trial articles (obviously paid), and then if it's as good fit we expand from there.
I'm very flexible and like to think I am good to work with (my account on upwork/Elance has $10,000+ spent and 100% positive feedback from contractors) - and I want to find an incredible writer I can pass along most of this writing to.
