Hi this is Robin. I need a project in ASP .NET and C# as a portal for students and teachers. I will need the complete ownership of code and would like only experienced programmers to work on the site. Following are my requirements:
1. Teachers and students can create their profiles. Teachers profile shows the following things:
j. Video links( youtube) and videos.
k. Photos
l. Audio uploading/playing facility should also be there.
m. Teaches which subject?
n. Student data: number of students
o. Testimonials
p. Followers: Other students and teachers who wish to get updates
q. Schedule: What is the timing of class
2. Students profile consists of:
a. Audio/video/Photos
b. Following whom
c. Subject
3. Students or teachers can follow teachers. Students cannot be followed. Those who follow get status message whenever a teacher schedules a class. They get update about the place, time and topic of the class.
4. Teacher can schedule a class. As soon as he schedules notification goes to followers. Class information is visible in teacher’s profile as well.
5. Followers also get an update when teachers upload any audio/video.
6. Search functionality of teachers by name/subject.
7. There is also a master room for each subject for example maths room, physics room. The student can simply go to the room and see the list of teachers. Whenever a teacher joins he is automatically the part of the master room depending upon his subject. The room is follower of every teacher of the particular subject so whenever a teacher schedules a class etc. notification also goes to the room’s wall.
