I am looking for someone to create a script that will take the content from Microsoft Word forms that are in Field Codes and Bookmarks, and input them into my own templates.

Background:

There are about 8 different types of 4-page MS Word reports that I get from my 10 clients. I will call these 'Donor Reports'. These MS WORD reports are generated from different programs using templates with different field codes. Each has its own unique field codes/bookmarks. There are 100+ numbers and words on these reports in the field codes.

What I am currently doing is copying and pasting information from these field codes in the Donor Reports and putting them into my own MS Word templates ('the Final Report') that is only 1 to 1.5 pages long and has the clients unique letterhead. It is very tedious. I have about 50 different templates that I use for the Final Report. They are all very similar - similar types of form fields.

((One of the donor Reports is in HTML)).

Your script will automate much of the 'copying and pasting' that I am doing and make things easier for me.

I am looking for someone to create a script that will work as follows:

1. I launch the script from Windows Desktop.

2. I open a MS Word 'Donor Report' from one of my folders.

3. On your script, I click 'Import Data', and it imports the information from the Donor Report. ((It imports it from whatever MS Word page that is live on the desktop - I should not have to select it.)

4. Then, on your script, In column one, I choose one of 10 categories (My Clients) by radio button. In column two, I choose one of 8 types of templates (So a total of 80 different templates( 8 x 10)).

5. Then, on the script, I have the option of choosing 0 to 10 1-5 sentence 'add-ons' by check mark, that will be inserted into a specific designated part of the Final Report.

6. Then, on your script, I press 'Generate Report' and the script enters the field codes from the Donor Report and the 'add ons' into the Final Report - a new MS Word document.

7. I then have the option to manually modify the Final Report.

8. Then, on your script, I can choose the 'Save Report' feature and it automatically save the file into a specific 'Client Folder' that will be determined by which client is selected from Step 4. The MS Word file will be automatically Saved As a file name based on specific form fields on the report ( 'Name', 'Date of Study') ((example: Smith,John [url removed, login to view]))

9: After the report is saved, it automatically puts the report into an email with the same subject header and message. The appropriate 'Send To' email address(es) will automatically be input depending on which client is selected from Step 4. I should be able to click 'Send Email' that will have 1+ reports attached to them when I am done working for the day.

10. I can then repeat the process with new Donor Reports ( the old data should be purged...)

Also, I should be able to easily modify some of the settings on the program like:

- Change text on the template Final Reports for each of the clients.

- Change text of of the 'add-on' sentences ( See Step 5).

- Change the Email addresses (from Step 9)

I should be able to adjust the size of your script in my window. It should take up no more than half of screen of a 20" monitor (1/2 of a side).

I will pay by escrow after script is working on my computer and bug-free.

I don't care what programming language you use, as long as it works on my Windows XP.

You must complete the project within your chosen time frame. I reserve right to cancel project and get escrow back if you cannot complete project on time.
