Simple JSON data setup in a jquery framework

I have a project I'm working on where a list of people are shown, when one of the names in clicked a profile animates in with information about the person. This is what I have so far [login to view URL] I need the information to load into the divs when the name is clicked and for the divs to adjust their size depending on the info loaded. This includes the photo of the person. The last requirnment is that the information about each person needs to be in external file.
I'm pretty sure this is a very simple project. I'm also goign to to need the person to explain to me a little bit about the json set up and how that works. Thanks.
