I am looking for an experienced engineer to design high frequency and high voltage inverters with input of 110 V or 220 V dc. The required frequency range for this project is 50 kHz, and the desired output voltage range is 1000V - 5000V ac.,250 mA load. The intended application for this inverter is for research and development to raise the 5000 V to 35 Kv to 50 KV dc, 10 mA max with CW multipliers , . The successful candidate should have a proven track record in design and execution of inverters, High Volt DC sources , and a detailed understanding of power electronics and control theory. They must have experience in designing high frequency and high voltage electronics as well as excellent problem solving and debugging skills. The desired outcome of this project is to develop high quality inverters and HV dc sources meeting the desired specifications.
