Im the founder of something called 'The Motivational Corner' which is basically based around inspiring and motivating youth to go out and achieve something incredible through video interviews with well-accomplished people in various professions. I'm trying to wane kids off the idea of mediocrity and stop them conforming to the limits and barriers society continues to set.

What I'm after is someone who can build me an interactive, cool, engaging site that is based around videos. I can not offer you much as a non-profit but, I can offer you mention both in my About page as the sole creative designer/web developer as well as continuous publicity on my Facebook page and website when finished. We have some really exciting people who have jumped on board so would be thrilled to find a web-developer.

What?

The Motivational Corner is an online platform where both kids and adults can come to for inspiration and motivation in the hope that they will walk away feeling like an indomitable force that can achieve anything whether its a breakthrough idea, sporting/academic goal or just general improvement in every day life.

We live in a digital age which can sometimes clutter our lives with insignificant garbage but, this digital age also provides us with a means for something great - connection. In the past to attain information on a well-accomplished individuals life you would have to read an article/book. But the Internet has allowed for something much more effective, with the amalgamation of social networks, video sites, and blogs.

Through videos of well accomplished people in their rightful professions the viewer will get an inside look on a few things;

-What challenges the person faced and how they prevailed.

-Their biggest motivation for doing what they are doing.

-They definition of 'success' and what key attributes someone successful.

-Further tips to the viewer

Videos will be split up into categories such as Sport, Politics, Education, Technology, Entrepreneurship, Business, Music etc.

We have an ever-growing video archive of people in various professions. The videos are intended to give you an eager sense of self-perfilemt and an idea of what it takes to succeed. They stand to fuel that insatiable desire for success through lessons and experiences these people have had, that has helped them get to where they are now. We want you to be able to learn from these people, and then be able to apply what you have learnt to your own life to help you get ahead.

Not only will 'The Motivational Corner' act as a visual platform for inspiration but, we also hope to develop another dimension that will act as a mentoring network so that the viewers can directly ask the interviewees for advice.

Why?

In society today people are too afraid to take a risk, try something new or quite frankly don’t have the motivation to go out and achieve something great. People are often afraid to be audacious or lack tenacity because they continuously get the idea of failure drilled into their brains constantly. People often say; ‘you cannot do that’ or ‘you will fail’ implying that there are limits to any given persons potential, which is false, Napoleon Hill said "there are no limitations to the mind except those we acknowledge”.

This lack of motivation and ‘go get em’ attitude was an influencing factor in the founding of The Motivational Corner.
