Alfresco: Fix my content store that uses mongodb instead of the file system

I have a custom content store component that uses mongodb to replace the default filesystem based content store. I have deployed this and used and it works OK most of the time. However, when I try to upload a file using Microsoft Office (via Alfresco's AOS component) I get a 409 HTTP response on a PUT request, and the process fails. I have narrowed it down to the process of reading from the temp file, but I am still lost as to why the file never gets filled.

The main goal is:

I need to be able to create a document from office and store it, via alfresco into the mongo database.

This can be done in many ways:

1. Fix the component I provide you (it is a small component, not many classes and most of it is derived from the reference implementation)

2. Develop a new one.

I am open to creative ways of doing this but remember: It has to be done from Office via Alfresco and it has to store on MongoDB (using files and chunks).

The project passes if I can create a big file with Office, save it to the repo, do a change, store it again and see the two versions in share, Office and the mongo database.
