Project tries to simulate to some extend the previous version of [url removed, login to view] - where when you move your mouse over a panel, the rest used to go darker and the one with the mouse over would go bigger with more details and a bigger picture attached. Project works that way, however it needs to be polished - when you move your mouse over the image, the 'pop up' appears almost instantaneously instead of after a short 1sec delay. In result if you move your mouse quickly over the panels, pop ups will flood the screen, instead of just one appearing at the time and if you are very proficient and move your mouse out, some panels will remain open. Additionally while on mouse over all other panels 'dissolve' (get brighter) the pop up appears like a slap on the screen, instead of also appearing as out of thin air over a period of time.
Requirements:
1. on mouse over, the 'action' is delayed 1 sec before all panels go white and a pop up appears.
2. on mouse out the panels should return in a similar fluid manner to their original transparency, same as they go white on mouse over.
3. on mouse over the popup should appear with smooth transition from 100% transparency to being fully visible over a course of 1 sec.
4. on mouse out the popup should again dissolve slowly over the course of 1 sec
5. when the mouse over action is executed, only one popup opens up and on mouse out it gets closed, and assuming the mouse is now on a different panel, another one opens after 1 sec of mouse 'resting' on this new panel. Otherwise the popup closes and all other popups remain 'closed' and all the panels return to their normal state.
See attached the code as it is now, it includes everything that is needed for the effect to take place thrown into one file. When preparing the new version please clearly comment out the existing code and point out with a comment new part(s) so that it can be easily replicated in the actual existing project.
