Android Application for sing language translation using matlab code

Good Matlab background and converting matlab code to different platforms is needed.

Good knowledge in image processing and neural networks will be helpful.

The aim of this project is demonstrating the concept of sign language translator using android mobile application. The first part is to build a prototype mobile application with the following functionalities:

1. Take a photo for the hand from the camera

2. Send the image to server or process it and translated it to the equivalent text.

• I have the matlab code to predict it using neural networks and image processing, this code is converted to java code but I did not work with me in Android, but I did work for computer.

• The matlab can be converted using any tool or matlab production server in order to the project to work.

• Any web service could be used

• Android have not build using native development, any development technique will be fine.

• This project is not part of any research or university project, it is just as a prove of concept to get fund to build the application.

The project need to be completed in no more than 2 day!.
