Core order system for customers to login. For the order system there is to be three core roles:
• one for "normal" customer users ordering from our company, shopping cart style if you like, targeted for use on PC or tablet. This is to come with a simple dashboard for user to see status of orders from ordered, in-progress, overdue and completed. Some key features:
1. Customer has login ID, with an email
2. When confirming order, the customer is given a tick box to confirm order (like verification)
3. After order inserted, there is 2 email sent – 1 to the customer, 1 to administrator
4. After order inserted, there is simple dashboard to show all orders, organised by:
Draft
In-progress (once order confirmed, it becomes in-progress)
Overdue
Completed
5. Once project completed, customer can click into “completed” job, and “download” completed report
• one administration app where internal department handles the different orders, targeted for use on PC only – to allocate to staff to execute etc. Some key features:
1. Admin can create 3 types of users (customer, admin & staff). Each user has (i) name, (ii) User type, (iii)
2. Similar dashboard to customer above, but got a filter to view by “All” or by individual customer” or by allocated staff (see point 3 below)
3. Can click into each job, and allocate to users to execute assignment
4. Once assignment granted, 1 email sent – to the allocated staff to inform job allocation
• one lookup app for allocated staff to completed the activity and upload report for customer to download. (so can upload a PDF/ Word report for customer to download). Some key features:
1. Once staff mark as completed and insert attachment, email sent to administrator to inform completed
2. Administrator act as “checker” to confirm, before an email is sent to customer to inform completed.
If there is a pre-existing template such as from GITHUB that can be used, we can work off that, rather than start from scratch.
