I am looking for a skilled developer to manage GPU 3D usage for my OpenGL / OSG project. The desired outcome for managing the GPU 3D usage is optimizing performance.

Details:

please refer to the attached file. In this file, you can see that we add a part and the GPU usage of the part spikes upto 100%.

We think that this is happening because the software is continuously rendering the image.

The graphics engine is OSG (Openscenegraph) which is a layer on top of OpenGL.

We will provide the entire code along with a video explanation of project/code. The problem statement is twofold:

a) Make the project consume less GPU (Refer [login to view URL])

b) when .stl files with large number of triangles are present, the navigation slows down. (Refer slowness with multipel [login to view URL])

The entire Visual project (code) will be given along with explanation of its operation. We expect the freelancers to recommend changes and show how to improve.

I think its a small task for someone who is expert on OpenGL/ OSG. The correct setting has to be sent to graphics card and use of techniqueies of like backward culling, frustrum culling and occulant culling. We do not know how to pass that information in OpenSceneGraph/ OpenGL. If anyone can do the changes and show a video of the improvement, the project would be awarded to them instantly.
