Basic Cut and Paste HTML Editing

I have a Joomla Installation that I am currently working on and I need to edit a lot of information in a really short period of time. I migrated all the information from an old and horribly created content management system that incorrectly escaped a lot of strings in the php coding. There is no longer any php code just a lot of "/" in places that don't need them breaking a lot of links and img tags. This was supposed to be finished today. The project includes the following:

* You will work remotely logged into my server

* You will go through all 99 categories and edit the category descriptions HTML replacing certain links (Easily Identified) with a generic pasted anchor link

* You will go through all 99 categories and edit the category descriptions HTML correcting errant image src tags and other errantly escaped strings.

* You will go through all 768 articles and edit the HTML correcting the same errant image src tags and other errantly escaped strings

I understand this will take a long time. In addition, please not that not every page and every category has corrections that need to be made. I have a lot of other programming that needs to be done and I cant afford to spend my time doing this. I would like this finished over the next 2-3 days. Today if possible. I will provide the following:

* Visual Instructions (I will show you what needs to be done either by screencast or a shared desktop connection via skype)

* Non-stop support (I will be available immediately if there are any questions)

* Access to the server

If completed by the end of today I will provide a decent bonus for your efforts. I am a worker on here also so I understand how nice a decent bonus is.

All I ask is that you are familiar enough with HTML to know what is not supposed to be there and to recognize the links that need to be replaced.
