I need a desktop application that will communicate with my MySQL server.
Here is the detailed requirements:
The application will be deployed at many different computers. We have a webserver with a MySQL database. The application will have some variables stored in the setting, as follows:
- Name
- Email Address
- Password
- Zip Code
The above variables will be saved on the user's computer (at a location that will not cause any permission issues.
The home page of the application would require the user to register or sign in.
If the user registers, we ask for the above information and send a Query to MySQL database to register an account. If the script (that I have in place) returns a Success Message, the application will log the user in and show homepage. Else if our script returns a FAILED error, the app will prompt user to fix entries and retry.
If the user clicks on Sign in, then we prompt for email address and password. On Submit, we will authticate with the server and if the response is Success we log user in, and show homepage, else show error and prompt to try again.
Now, moving on, if user is signed in, we show different tabs to the user based on the type of account user has.
The tabs are:
PERSONAL INFORMATION
My Favorite XXXXXXXX
Edit Account Information
My Messages
BUSINESS INFORMATION
My Customer List
Edit Business Information
My Offers
Each of these tabs will have one to two pages.
I want someone flexible who can finish this project and include some more edits / additions to the current project.
